Description
Nos 28, 29, and 30 are three cottages that form a row, dating from around 1750 and refronted in the mid 19th century. They are constructed from local limestone rubble with squared quoins and feature clay double Roman tile roofs and brick stacks. The cottages are two stories high, with each having one bay, except for Number 28, which has two bays. The windows are petal casement style with leaded lights in wooden surrounds and labels above, except for Number 29, which has late 20th-century casement windows. The door openings are sheltered by gabled and slated hoods supported by elaborately scrolled iron brackets, with 20th-century doors; Numbers 29 and 30 have half-glazed doors. These cottages are included in the listing mainly for their group value.
