Description
Little West Barn Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1800. It features a rendered exterior with dressed quoins and a slate roof with coped verges and rendered stacks. The building has an "L" plan and a Classical facade, standing two storeys tall with a cellar and comprising three bays. The facade includes 12-pane sash windows set in plain stone surrounds. The central entrance has a semi-circular headed door opening, flanked by Ionic pilasters that support an open pediment on brackets, and features a six-panelled door. On the left side, there is an entrance to the cellar accessed by a flight of stone steps. At the rear, there is a three-bay wing. Inside, the farmhouse contains period doors, fireplaces, and sole panelling.
