Description
Eden Steads is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with an early 19th-century facade. It features rendered walls, stone dressings, and a graduated slate roof with rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys tall and consists of three bays, with a single bay extension to the right. The entrance is marked by two Greek Ionic columns supporting a moulded and dentilled entablature, leading to a five-panel door topped with a glazed fanlight. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. Corner pilaster strips rise to a moulded cornice, which is complemented by a parapet and coped gables. The stables associated with the property are listed separately for group value context.
