Description

Roend is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed with English garden wall bond brickwork, stone dressings, a slate roof, and brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The entrance features a plain surround and an entablature with a moulded cornice. The sash windows have glazing bars and plain surrounds. The ground floor is accentuated by projecting stone quoins that end at a string course. Modillions are present along the gutter, extending around the gable end. Roend is the end house in a row of houses, but it was originally built as a detached property.
