Description
Wood House is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features painted roughcast walls and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof, which includes painted roughcast chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three main bays, with lower two-storey, single-bay wings on either side. The central entrance consists of a top-glazed panelled door set within a painted stone surround. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, also framed in painted stone surrounds. The left wing has a 20th-century door in a painted stone surround, and both wings contain 20th-century steel casements within painted stone surrounds. The rear extensions are not of interest.
