Description

Highwinds Sunnyside is a pair of cottages built around 1650. They are constructed from Doulting rubble with a corrugated iron roof and feature brick stacks. The cottages are rectangular in shape, with a single sub-divided fireplace entry dwelling. They stand two storeys high with an attic and consist of three bays. The windows are three-light, with ovolo moulded stone mullions, except for the centre bay on the ground floor, which has a reserved chamfer. The ground floor windows have labels above them. There is an inserted doorway with a plain stone surround located between the first and second bays, featuring a 20th-century door. Additionally, there is a small single light attic window on the left return.
