Description
The Vicarage is a vicarage built around 1830, constructed from Bath stone ashlar. It features wide eaves and a hipped slate roof with ashlar stacks, showcasing a classical style. The building is two stories tall with three bays, and it has sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals, except for the openings in the right bay, which are blocked by ashlar panels designed to imitate sash windows.
At the center, there is a solid-sided ashlar porch with a segmental-headed door opening, flanked by panelled pilasters that have Greek key decoration at the base and capital. Above the porch is a moulded cornice with a parapet. The inner door is six-panelled, with the top two panels being glazed, and there is an elaborately decorated transom light above it. To the left side, there is a hipped-roofed wing that is lower in height and has a blank facade. The right side features a three-bay return.
