Description
Millards Hill House is a country house dating to the late 18th century, with additions from the mid-19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of Doulting ashlar with emphasised quoins. The house features a moulded and dentilled cornice, a solid parapet with balustrading panels above the outer bays, two box dormers, a slate mansard roof with coped verges, and end rubble stacks. The design is Classical and symmetrical.
The main house is two storeys and an attic, with a 1:1:1 bay arrangement; the bays to each side are full-height canted bays, with sash windows featuring glazing bars. A 19th-century wing to the right return has a solid ashlar porch with vestigial Tuscan columns supporting a frieze and a dentilled cornice, a double-panelled door, and a small transom light above. Two 20th-century wings extend from the rear.
