Description

Laurel House Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse that was significantly altered with a new front in the late 18th century. It is constructed of Doulting rubble with a dressed stone band separating the ground and first floors. The building features dressed quoins, a concrete double Roman tile roof with coped verges, and brick end stacks.

The building is rectangular in plan and has a classical front. It is two storeys and an attic, with four bays, and features 16-pane sash windows in edge-moulded stone surrounds. A door opening in the second bay has a similar surround and contains a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed. A left return shows a single bay with an ovolo-moulded stone mullioned window of two lights, with a label.
