Description

The Theobald Arms is a public house dating from the 17th century, which was refronted in the mid-19th century. The building is rendered and features a parapet with coping, along with slate roofs and one rubble and one brick chimney stack. It is two storeys high with an attic and has a layout of two bays on the left and one bay on the right. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set in slightly raised surrounds. The entrance is through a 20th-century gabled porch with a half-glazed door. Above the door, there is a painted heraldic signboard, and to the left, a further sign is set at right angles to the facade on a wrought iron bracket. At the rear, there are reserved chamfer 3-light stone mullioned windows.
