Description

The Village Lock-up, now used as a store, dates from around 1700 and was altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from Doulting rubble with dressed quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building is rectangular and single storey, with a broad door opening at the front. This opening has chamfered stone jambs and a wooden lintel, with an additional stone lintel above. The entrance is fitted with double plank doors. The lock-up is included in the listing primarily for its historic interest.
