Description
St Peter's Cottage is a cottage that is part of a row and is dated 1744, with early 19th century alterations. It has a roughcast exterior, a moulded eaves cornice, and a slate roof featuring a small gabled dormer. The cottage has brick and rubble end stacks. It is two stories high with three bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars set in plain stone surrounds. There is a central door opening also in a similar stone surround, topped with a triangular pediment supported by moulded stone brackets. The door itself is a six-panelled design, with the top two panels being glazed. Above the first-floor window, there is a stone tablet with cut stone letters that read "B.I.M 1744". To the right, there is a blind wall that incorporates two additional sash windows in similar surrounds.
