Description

No 22 Horn Street is a cottage that is part of a row and is dated 1724. It is constructed from local limestone rubble with quoins and features a clay pantile roof and a brick stack. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, with ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows that have two lights. The central door opening is framed by a bead moulded stone surround and contains a 19th-century four-panelled door. There are string courses above the window heads. A central stone plaque displays raised stone letters that read "S.I.A. 1724". Additionally, there is a two-light mullioned attic window on the left side, also with an ovolo stone surround.
