Description

No 13A on Horn Street is a cottage that is part of a row of buildings, dating from the late 17th century with later alterations. It is constructed of painted rubble and has a slate roof with a coped verge on the right side and a rubble stack that rises through the apex of the roof. The facade is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and two bays. On the first floor, there are two-light bead moulded stone mullioned windows, while the ground floor has flush sash windows with marginal lights. The central door opening is framed by a bead moulded stone surround and features a 19th-century four-panelled door. This building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
