Description
The White Hart is a public house dated 1693, constructed from Doulting rubble with a triple Roman tile roof. The building features a coped verge on the left and has three ridge stacks: one made of ashlar on the left, one of brick in the center, and one of rubble on the right. It is two stories high with five bays. The ground floor has 20th-century casement windows with glazing bars set in plain stone surrounds, except for the second bay, which has a bolection moulded architrave from a former door opening. Between the third and fourth bays on the first floor is a two-light mullioned window with a stone surround. There is a door opening with a plain stone surround that contains a 20th-century glazed door. Above this door is a stone plaque with raised lettering indicating the date 1693.
