Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage, likely aided by the Church Land Commission, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of local limestone rubble, with a clay pantile roof, featuring a coped verge in the centre. Two brick stacks are present. The cottage is two storeys high with three bays. The majority of the windows are 16-pane sashes set within plain stone surrounds. However, the left two bays on the first floor have 2-light stone mullioned windows with ovolo moulding. A central door opening contains a 6-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed, set within a chamfered stone surround.
