Description

The Wakey monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 15 meters north-west of the tower of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The base is buried, featuring plain slab sides and ends, with a cyma recta mould coving to a heavy flat top. The monument commemorates Robert Whakey, although the date of his death is not readable.
