Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 13 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Andrew in Dowlish Wake. It is made of ham stone and features a moulded base. Each face has one fielded panel, and there are three-panel pilasters on the sides. The hipped top has moulded coving with rounded leading edges. The tomb is covered with ivy, and as of September 1986, no inscription was readable.
