Description
This building is a stable and coachhouse located adjacent to Number 82 Church Street in Burnham-on-Sea. It dates from the 19th century and features painted brickwork and a hipped slate roof, with the slates arranged in a stepped pattern. There is a low brick stack on the left side, and the building has emphasised painted quoins and window surrounds. It is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with blank windows that have emphasised lintels and keystones, also painted. The stable has double plank doors with glazed panels on the left side. Inside, there is a 20th-century fireplace on the left side of the ground floor. This building is included primarily for its group value with Number 82 Church Street.
