Description
This building is a coach house and stables located to the north-west of Beckfoot, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from sandstone blocks, featuring decoratively-dressed quoins and door surrounds. The roof is hipped and covered with graduated slate, with brick chimneys at the ends. The structure has two storeys and consists of five bays. On the left side, there is a coach door, along with two stable doors, all featuring elliptical heads. The building includes two sash windows alternating with doors, and three sash windows with semicircular heads above, all fitted with glazing bars. There are steps leading up to a first-floor porch on the south return. A single-storey block with inserted 20th-century garage doors is attached to the south end, but this is not included in the listing.
