Description

The walls, piers, and railings at the entrance of Beckfoot were built in 1895. They feature a ramped ashlar wall with diagonal dressing and a segmental coping. The cylindrical piers are topped with caps and conical finials. The cast-iron railings are approximately 18 inches high and have foliate spearhead standards. There is a central gate and a smaller gate to the left, both made of wrought iron with cast-iron details. This structure is included for its group value.
