Description

The entrance piers and railings located to the east of Stroud Lodge date from the early 19th century. They are made of wrought iron and sit on an ashlar plinth, with square ashlar end piers. The structure stands approximately 2.5 meters high and features a frieze and cornice capping topped with a ball finial. The closely set rails include scrolled-work cresting and incorporate a gate. These elements are included for their group value with Stroud Lodge.
