Description

The Manor House is a large house dating to 1726, as indicated by initials and a date on the pediment. It is constructed of ashlar stone with rusticated quoins and an eaves cornice on the front elevation, while the returns are of coursed rubble. The roof is slated, with stone chimneys at either end. The building follows an 'L' shape. The three-storey, six-bay front features a panelled door within an architrave, which is topped with a segmental pediment. The ground floor has two sash windows to the left and three to the right; the two upper floors each have six sash windows with glazing bars, all set within architraves. An ornamental rainwater head is located on the upper left side. A range of outbuildings attached to the rear is not included in the listing.
