Description

The Larches is a house from the 18th century, constructed in two phases. It is built of coursed rubble and features a graduated stone-flagged roof with stone chimneys in the middle and a rendered chimney at the north end. The house has two storeys and consists of five bays in total. The original section on the right has a 20th-century plank door, with two sash windows and one small fixed window on each floor. The house has been extended into a former outbuilding on the left, which now includes 20th-century garage doors, and has two sash windows asymmetrically placed on each floor. All the windows are from the 20th century and include glazing bars. The building is included for its group value.
