Description
No 2 Mill Street is a house with origins dating back to at least the 18th century. It features an ashlar plinth and is rendered with ashlar lining over local stone rubble. The roof is made of plain clay tiles and has simple gables, with brick chimney stacks. The building stands three storeys tall and has three bays. The ground and first floors have 4-pane sash windows, with the lower bay 3 window being doubled. There is a band course above the first floor, followed by two 12-pane sash windows between the bays. Between bays 2 and 3, there is a 6-panel door that is part glazed and set in a plain recess. Additionally, there is a plain opening to the cellar in plinth bay 2. The interior has not been seen.
