Description
No 1 Church Street is a house that likely dates from the 18th century. It features a local stone rubble plinth, with rendered and colorwashed walls above, and painted ashlar dressings. The roof is made of plain clay tiles. The building has two storeys and two bays. It has a high plinth and rusticated quoins. The windows are 12-pane sash windows, with the lower bay 1 being doubled and having the glazing bars removed. There is a wide 6-flush panel door with glazed toplights, set in an architraved surround, located in bay 2. The interior has not been seen.
