Description

The south boundary railings and gates to the Baptist Chapel, located at the southeast corner of No. 6 Mill Street, date from the 19th century. They feature slim cast iron piers that stand about 2 meters high, which are squared and have moulded plinths and caps topped with ball finials. The gates and railings, also made of cast iron, are adorned with barbed spearhead finials on the upper middle and top rails. These railings and gates are included in the listing primarily for their general value in the street scene.
