Description
No. 6 Mill Street is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble and features a plain ashlar door surround. The roof is made of plain clay tiles and has simple gables, with brick chimney stacks at each end. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays. There is a rendered plinth, and on the upper floor, there are 9-pane sash windows in plain openings. On the ground floor, bay 1 has no window, bay 2 features a 20-pane sash window with a 5-pane sidelight, bay 3 has a 6-panelled door set in a plain recess, and bay 4 includes another 9-pane sash window. The interior has not been seen.
