Description
The building is a former Congregational Church Hall and Rooms, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a hipped roof covered in plain clay tiles with an ornamental clay tile ridge. The building is two storeys high and five bays wide. It features semi-circular arched casement windows set within plain ashlar surrounds and keystones. A matching doorway with panelled double doors is located between bays two and three. The interior has not been inspected. The building forms part of an interesting group of Non-Conformist Church buildings, one of three in the town, of which this is the only one listed.
