Description

The Westcote monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 19 meters south-west of the tower of the Church of All Saints on Church Street. It dates from the 18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth on a stepped base, with one fielded panel on each face and coffer-panelled pilasters on the sides. The hipped top has moulded coving and rounded leading edges. This monument commemorates John Westcote, who died in 1780.
