Description

The Cox Chest Tomb, located in the churchyard 0.7 metres east of the chancel of the Church of Saint Michael, is an 18th-century chest tomb made of Ham stone. It features a moulded base and fielded panels on the sides, with panelled pilasters on either side. The tomb is topped with a heavy moulded hipped top. It commemorates John Cox, who died in 1777.
