Description

This is an early 19th-century cottage located on The Cross in Minehead. It is constructed with painted render over a rubble stone base, topped with a slate roof that extends continuously with the adjacent property at No. 3. A brick stack sits on the right-hand party wall. The cottage has a double-depth plan with later additions to the rear. It is two storeys high and features a single window facing the street. The windows are 19th-century two-light casements with small panes of glass; the first-floor window is at eaves level, with a taller window directly below it. A 20th-century halved and planked door, with a window inserted alongside, is located on the left-hand side. The interior has not been inspected.
