House. C17. Painted render over rubblestone or cob; rubblestone lateral stack to front, off-set at eaves level, with brick shaft above; gabled thatched roof with brick stack to right gable end. 2-unit plan with lateral stack to hall adjoining entry; small C19 lean-to extension to the rear. 2 storeys; 2-window range. C19 three-light casement window over one of 4-lights to the left; a small fire-window to the right return of the stack; adjacent to the stack is a small 2-light casement window over a lean-to slate porch to a set-back C17 moulded oak door-frame and a C18 door. The wall to the right of the door is blank with a curved corner to the right return which has C19 casement windows, 2-lights to the first floor and 3-lights to the ground floor. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached to the left-hand corner a rubblestone wall approx 2m high curves forward and extends to the left for approx 8m; a lower wall attached to it approx 1m high and 6m long fronts the house.
