Description

Maypole Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located on the east side of The Cross in Shillingstone. The building is constructed of whitewashed rubble and features a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the right. There is a brick stack on the left side. The cottage has been extended later on both sides and at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has a two-window range, with two and three-light casements that include glazing bars. The entrance door is situated in the later extension.
