Description
Church House is a house located on Church Road in Shillingstone, dating from the mid-18th century, with a late 19th or early 20th-century extension on the right. The building is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof with brick stacks at the ends of the original range. It was originally designed to be symmetrical, with two storeys and a three-window range, although a later canted bay has been added to the right. The ground floor openings have segmental brick heads, while the upper floor contains five 2-light wrought-iron casements with leaded lights. There is a 20th-century casement with horizontal glazing bars on the ground floor to the right, and a part-glazed door situated in a glazed porch or conservatory on the left.
