Description
Cross Cottage and Cross House are a pair of cottages with origins in the 17th century, although significantly altered in later periods. They are built of rubble and brick in a Flemish bond with flared headers. The roof is thatched, with end brick stacks. Cross House forms a cross wing. The cottages have two storeys and a six-window range, featuring a mix of sash and casement windows, some with glazing bars. The Cross House wing has a four-part sash window and a first-floor plat band. A former shop front has been blocked on the left side. A 20th-century part-glazed door is present. A blocked timber mullioned window of three lights is visible on the Cross House wing.
