Description
The Old Rectory, now divided into two dwellings, dates from the late 18th century and underwent significant modifications in 1890. It is constructed of brick, with the main facade featuring header bond in the central bays and Flemish bond in the outer bays. The building has a tiled roof with symmetrically arranged brick stacks. It is near symmetrical, standing two storeys with attics and consisting of seven bays arranged in a 2:3:2 pattern. The central section features a three-bay, two-storey bow. Ground floor openings are topped with gauged brick arches, and the windows are sashes, with 15 panes on the ground floor and 12 panes on the upper floor. The bow has later additions of mullioned and transomed casements on the ground floor. There is a central dormer and a glazed door located in the second bay from the left. The rear of the building has 19th-century additions.
