Description

The former corn mill, located 12 metres west of Mill Cottage, is a store that dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut, squared, and coursed, topped with a clay pantile roof featuring coped gables. The building has two storeys plus an attic. On the roadside gable, there are doors with timber lintels at both levels, accompanied by a small buttress to the right of the lower door. A casement window is set into the gable. The north side of the building features two casement windows on the ground floor, along with a door and another casement window above. Additionally, there are two grinding stones set in the drive to the north, while the mill stream has been conduited and is no longer visible.
