Description
Ty'r Felin is a two-storey mill house and former corn mill, aligned with an open-fronted storage building at the southwest corner. It is constructed from coursed and dressed local stone, featuring a slate roof with overhanging eaves and verges, as well as stone stacks with dripstones and capping at both ends of the mill house. The house has a two-window range with a central doorway, and all openings are pointed arched with stone voussoirs. The door is boarded, and the windows are timber casements, with the first-floor windows positioned directly under the eaves. The mill has a four-window range, with the doorway offset to the right (east) end. The openings are similar to those of the house but are at a lower level, and there is a circular window in the west gable apex. At the southwest corner of the mill, there is an open-fronted storage area consisting of two bays supported by monolithic stone piers; the rear and west wall are built of rubble masonry, and the slate roof has stone coping at the west end. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in June and July 2003.
