Description

The former kiln house at Tan-y-bwlch mill is a lofted structure built from coursed local stone, topped with a slate roof that features a vent on the southeast pitch. The building has a round-headed doorway located at the far right end of the southeast lateral wall, which is accessed by an external flight of stone steps. This doorway is set within a gabled half dormer that interrupts the eaves line. On the southwest gable, there is a small round-headed opening in the center, along with a circular pitching hole at the apex above. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in June and July 2003.
