Description

Yr Hen Ysgubor, also known as Barton Lodge, is a building constructed from brown stone and topped with a slate roof. The north elevation features, from left to right, two small windows followed by a large doorway. To the right of this doorway, there are steps leading up to a smaller doorway, with a modern box dormer situated in the roofslope above. At the right corner, there is a large rectangular chimney. The right return of the building includes a round window in the gable, a bridge leading to a doorway and window at the upper level, as well as additional doorways and windows at ground level.
