Description
The Garden Terrace to the south and east of Plas Tan y Bwlch is a Grade II listed structure. It features a retaining wall that forms a low rubble wall at the terrace level, topped with moulded copings and piers that have shallow pyramidal caps. Steps lead down to the garden on the south and west sides. On the east side, a low wall separates the terrace from the entrance driveway; this wall is made of rubble with ashlar coping and has decorative iron railings between piers that also have moulded cappings. There is an elegant pair of iron gates providing access to either side of the terrace. Additionally, a small gardener's hut, built in the gothic style from stone, is located adjacent to the eastern corner of the terrace.
