Description
Yew Lodge and Dairy Farmhouse is a farmhouse located on High Street in Templecombe, dating from the 18th century, with a 19th-century extension. The building is constructed from local stone coursed rubble and features a plain clay tiled roof with simple gables and brick end chimney stacks. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a three-bay south facade that is at right angles to the road. The facade includes 16-pane sash windows set in segmental arched openings with voussoirs and keystones. The central entrance features a six-panelled door in a semi-circular arched opening, topped with a radial glazed fanlight. The 19th-century extension, known as No 18, is a one-bay addition to the north, which has a separate external door and is of lesser interest. The interiors have not been seen.
