Description

Church House is a house likely dating back to the 17th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble with a plain clay tile roof and brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It features small composite sash windows with 2, 4, and 2 panes, arranged in groups of six. A continuous string moulding runs between the floors. A part-glazed door is situated between the second and third bays, and all openings have exposed timber lintols. The interior remains unseen. The house occupies an important position in relation to the nearby Church of St Mary.
