Description

The Gardens is a detached house built around 1800. It is constructed from locally sourced stone that has been cut and squared, topped with a plain clay tile roof featuring simple gables and brick end chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and three bays. The outer bays have 16-pane sash windows, while the upper centre bay has a 12-pane sash window. All windows are set in voussoired segmental arched openings with keystones. The central entrance features a boarded door in a similar arched opening. The building is depicted on the Tithe Commissioners map from 1839. The interior has not been seen.
