Description
Greenhouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with late 19th-century additions. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a blue machine tile roof with verge parapets supported by shaped kneelers, along with small brick stacks at the ends. The building has two storeys and an attic, presenting a three-window front that consists of three sets of three-light and two sets of two-light chamfered mullion windows, arranged in a symmetrical composition slightly offset to the right. The windows have non-fitting shutters and there is a raised string at the first-floor level. The central entrance has a 20th-century boarded door. To the left, there is a lower, late 19th-century two-storey single-bay extension, and to the right, a single-storey wing. The right-hand gable features a mullioned two-light window in the attic.
