Description
Borrowby Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with a machine-tile roof. The building has two storeys and features three bays, along with a one-bay, one-storey wing on the right side. To the left of this right-hand wing, there is a 20th-century glazed door set in a chamfered surround beneath a lintel. All the windows are also set in chamfered surrounds. The two left-hand bays contain two 2-light mullioned windows with 20th-century casements, and there is a single-light 2-pane window on the right for each floor. The bay to the right of the door has a 2-light mullioned window with 9-pane casements. The main block features shaped kneelers and stone coping, along with end stacks.
