Description

Fairmount is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of ashlar stone with a Welsh slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features three bays. At the front, there is a plinth and three stone steps leading up to a central six-panel door, which has a four-pane overlight above it. This door is flanked by four-pane casement windows. On the first floor, there are 16-pane sash windows. All the windows are adorned with flush wood architraves, as well as stone sills and lintels. To the left, there is a shaped kneeler and stone coping. The house has end stacks, with the left stack featuring a moulded cornice. Fairmount is included for its group value.
