Description

Prospect House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, with a continuous outshut at the rear. To the right of the left-hand bay, there is a six-panel door set in a chamfered surround beneath a stone lintel. The ground floor has twelve-pane sash windows with glazing bars, framed in flush wood architraves. On the first floor, there are unequally-hung nine-pane sash windows. The house is adorned with shaped kneelers and moulded stone coping. It has end stacks, with the right stack featuring a chamfered band and moulded cornice, as well as a ridge stack with a chamfered band.
