Description
This is a mid-to-late 18th century house and commercial premises located on The Green in Borrowby. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone with a 20th-century pantile roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. A half-glazed door is situated to the right of the left-hand bay, and a four-panel door is to the left of the right-hand bay, both with stone lintels. A 19th-century shop bay window with a cornice is present in the left-hand ground-floor bay. All other windows are four-pane side-sliding sashes, with stone lintels to those on the ground floor. The right-hand side features a shaped kneeler and stone coping. There are end stacks, plus one stack to the ridge. The building has group value.
